What to do when Halloween falls on a Monday and you have to go to work? You look for a chic, slightly spooky, off-kilter outfit that won’t get you into trouble with HR! Black? Too predictable! I went with this gorgeous dark cherry Frill Detail Dipped Hem Dress from SimplyBe!

This dress has an old-timey vibe — with the long sleeves, exaggerated cuffs and high neckline. And the ruffled panel on the side and at the hem should be sweet…yet the dark cherry color toughens it up. I paired it with some socks of the same color to throw it a little more off kilter and topped it off with these crazy fun Sole Diva Hi Vamp Cross Over Platform sandals several shades lighter in magenta pink. It’s risky…but I think it works — especially for the Halloween season!
