Even though I’ve been experimenting with blush and neutral tones this season, my heart still belongs to rich, bold colors. This Mockneck Cold Shoulder Plus Size Dress from Avenue in this saturated coral hue rings all my bells!

This dress is so easy to wear! With a fabulous a-line swing silhouette and slight bell sleeves, it feels modern and a little boho. The high neckline means you can wear it to the office, while the cold shoulders show enough skin to make this perfect for a party too. I love the polyester/spandex blend fabric that makes wrinkles pretty much a thing of the past, so it’s perfect for traveling.

I wore this flirty little number to an art opening at my studio last month. It was perfect against this colorful, art-filled backdrop!

This dress hits just above the knee and has a great loose fit that flares out over the hips. It strikes the right balance between casual and formal. It’s also easy to re-style this look — try it with a belt to add a little more shape or even over  jeans and wear it more as a tunic. In fact, now that I’m thinking of it…I might wear this coral cold-shoulder plus size dress over some white capris this summer with espadrilles or woven wedge sandals.
