I have statement sleeves fever! I seriously look at regular sleeves and feel nothing but pity. I’m craving statement sleeves that are big and bold – or at least with interesting cutouts and details. Isn’t this Asos Curve Extreme Ruffle Sleeve Jacquard Mini Dress just DIVINE? The bright citron yellow color is simply fantastic. And to top it off, this dress has an amazing heron and spring blossom print that just jumps off of the background. This dress is a statement in itself, and omg – do you see the sleeves???

This dress is so unique – it’s made of a thick jacquard fabric – almost like a tapestry! It has a simple tube-shape silhouette, and the sleeves are attached by a small seam under the arm. The position of the sleeve is intentional, so they will hit right at your elbow and extend down to your wrists/hands from there. They are VERY dramatic and I really haven’t seen any other dress like it! The only drawback to this dress, in my opinion is that you have to wear a strapless bra with it — which is, as far as I’m concerned, an instrument of the devil! But beauty is pain (sigh) and it was worth it!
