My time spent in the corporate world instilled in me a deep love for blazers and suit jackets. They are a wardrobe staple and are one of the most versatile items you can own. Blazers not only elevate your office style when paired with a sheath dress or pencil skirt, but a blazer can also immediately make a jeans and tee feel polished and pulled together. I always recommend investing in a high-quality blazer with classic lines and special details. This Misook Molten Gold Jacket is definitely an investment piece!

Misook has a substantial collection of unique, classic blazers, but the Molten Gold Jacket really caught my eye. It has gold lamé accents woven throughout the black knit, which is also textured. An inverted notched collar, bracelet-length sleeves and a single button closure make this a timeless design that will last for years to come!

I know this blazer will look amazing with a black sheath dress, but I wanted to showcase its more casual side. Recently, I paired it with some destructed denim and classic black pumps for a high/low casual glam look. I wore this outfit to a fashion industry holiday mixer and people raved about the blazer! I felt so festive and chic and polished!

For an edgier street wear look, I decided to try the Faux Leather Stud Collar Blouse. Sometimes you’re in the mood for #allblackeverything and the minute I saw this blouse, I got all the rock n roll feels.

It’s edgy, but refined. It’s a classic black blouse in a high-quality thick knit with a hidden button panel. The faux leather collar has silver stud details.

Paired with black leggings with faux leather side panels, you have a chic, monochromatic look with an edge. I loved the idea of popping this outfit with my favorite pair of red pumps!

A NOTE ON SIZING: I found both the blazer and the blouse to be very roomy. I ordered according to the measurements on their size chart – which had me at a 2x or 24/26W, however I absolutely should have ordered a 1X or even a 0X!
