HOTNESS! There is no other word for this amazing plus size red lace dress from City Chic. The scarlet lace over a nude base is just fierce! I cannot get over the color, design and price of this dress. It was perfect for Valentine’s Day…but this is a dress that will be perfect for occasions throughout the year. In my last post, I confessed that I had already broken my January Gwynnie Bee plus size style resolution to focus on my casual wardrobe, and I reverted back to my love of dresses! When I saw this amazing City Chic Splice Armor Dress LBD in my Gwynnie Bee app, all thoughts of casual tops went out the window. I had to try it!
OMG, you guys. BLACK LACE JOGGERS. What are jogger pants, you ask? Well, they are pants that have elastic at the ankle and aren’t really a capri…they are meant to resemble jogging pants from the 90s, I think. But I’m totally obsessed with this black lace Roaman’s Lace Joggers that I found at Fullbeauty.com! Paired with a Lace Trim Tank by Denim 24/7 and a Rib Trim Utility Jacket by City Chic — also found on Fullbeauty.com!
Summer is hitting its stride here in Chicago, and we’ve had weeks and weeks of super hot temps, which has me trying to wear the lightest and least restrictive clothing I can get my hands on. And that led me to another City Chic dress (see my last post about this cheery yellow sundress here)…this time, I went with a silky smokey blue maxi dress with a racerback knot and slits on the side.
