Are you looking for a plus size faux fur jacket this season? You are not alone. There has literally been an explosion of faux furs from various plus size retailers. I’m not just talking about the old-school sleek furs, but totally outrageous faux fur jackets with exaggerated, shaggy shapes and cool colors. I was lucky enough to grab this crazy version from Lane Bryant earlier this year and it’s my new favorite accessory! I bought a size 20/22 for even more of an exaggerated shape and it goes easily over thicker tops and sweaters.
I’m a sucker for a great sweater with a faux fur collar! This sweater from Melissa McCarthy’s line Seven7 is so warm and fun…I was channeling Game of Thrones the entire time I was wearing it! I got it at Nordstrom, but it’s already sold out there…you can find a white version at Macy’s here or the black version at Lord & Taylor here. This was the perfect outfit to run around town in on a cold winter day!!!

I’ve fully embraced the concept of winter white and have been working so hard to come up with the perfect outfit. You can’t go halfway on a winter white outfit…you have to totally commit–and boy, did I ever! Once I saw this white Roaman’s ankle-length faux fur coat on Fullbeauty.com, I knew there was no turning back. I had to find an outfit that stood up to this ridiculously fun coat. And what goes best with faux fur? Sequins and Peplums of course!
