Finally, finally! After so many designer collections that left plus size Target consumers out in the cold, the latest collaboration — at last! — included plus size items. The Target Who What Wear collection has some super cute plus size pieces, and I’m thrilled to share a few of them with you! Here’s the first one…featuring this fab wine-colored sweater and faux leather skirt*.
Y’all know that I’m a huge fan of fall – from the corn mazes to the pumpkins to the caramel apples…and of course…I’m obsessed with fall fashion! Plaid and leather and boots and layers are the hallmarks of fall fashion, and I can’t get enough of them! Sometimes I stumble upon an outfit that is a lot cooler than me. That happened when I collaborated with Forever 21 Plus on a series of spring fashion posts*. I saw this Forever 21 Plus Size Faux Leather Shift Dress and my cool girl meter went to 11! I love the rock star vibe of the faux leather and the short skirt. The deep cuts on the sides are meant to show off a cute patterned top — like this striped tank — or even a crop top!

The day they brought the peplum back in style, was a day that will go down in plus size fashion history! I know that some of you never saw the appeal, or are perhaps sick of it already…but I am a die-hard fan! And when I see fresh and modern takes on this classic shape like this Finn Abstract Peplum Top from Fashion to Figure, my soul rejoices a little more. From the bold, colorful paint brush print to the peek-a-boo detail at the neck…this peplum top is so fresh it hurts! And when you add a little sex appeal in the form of this Kaira Faux Leather Midi Pencil Skirt and a pop of Cherry Red Prynn Patent Tote, you’ve got a fabulous twist on an office wear classic silhouette. I’m in LOVE!!!
If you saw yesterday’s post, you know I’ve been collaborating with Fashion to Figure to bring you 3 perfect transitional outfits! It’s still freezing cold here in Chicago, but most of the country is starting to thaw out…and jumpsuits are perfect to transition to spring! This Black and White Wren Striped Jumpsuit from Fashion to Figure is super comfortable — made out of a loose knit that drapes over your curves. It’s sleeveless, so throw on a light layer like this Sloane Coated Blazer when you’re outside…and if you get warm, just slip it off. The stripe of the jumpsuit is pretty bold, so I played it down with some ladylike accessories — layers of pearls and this Lucian Color Block Snake Clutch took this look from playful to classy!
I love the ruching on the sleeves of this blazer!
