3D Flowers On This Plus Size Dress from ASOS Curve

Prints of flowers are not enough for me any more. I’ve crossed the line. I’ve gone 3D! This plus size dress from ASOS Curve has delicate, colorful beaded flowers all over the light and airy fabric…It’s decadent and a little flashy…but oh so sweet and innocent! The skater dress shape of this dress makes it ideal for twirling, but beware…it is SHORT! I like my dresses and skirts short, but it was even making me nervous! But OHHHH….the beading!

Happy Easter! Welcoming Spring in Florals and Vintage Hats!

Happy Easter from Style Plus Curves! I’m celebrating spring with florals, florals, florals! Also…hats! I try to take any and all chances to wear a hat and gloves! The fashion scene is sadly lacking hats and Easter is one of the few times where people in the U.S. will wear them! Closet Find: A Charming Retro Floral Dress from City Chic

It’s no secret that I have tons and tons of plus size dresses bursting my closet at the seams. That’s one of the reasons I recently revamped my online store (ACCESS IT HERE) so that I could let some of my clothes breathe! I have so many dresses that it’s hard for me to find the ones I truly love. In fact, I recently rediscovered this City Chic black floral fit-and-flare plus size dress in the back of my closet and wore it out with my boyfriend for date night. Then I realized that I had never posted the adorable pictures I took of it from over a year ago! I still had my short bob (totally miss it now!!) and the snow was just starting to melt. I love this dress for it’s feminine 50s shape, flared out skirt (it has netting underneath!) and the elbow length sleeves. It fits like a glove!

And of course, we took these pictures at high noon (a big photoshoot no-no), so this is pretty much how I spent the whole shoot!

Feminine and Flirty Plus Size Hydrangea Print City Chic Dress

I’m a southern girl from Alabama, and I grew up with overflowing hydrangea bushes in my front yard. So I had to have this amazing Plus Size Hydrangea Print Dress from City Chic the moment I saw it! I have this exact City Chic dress in a gorgeous Cactus print–it has the same super saturated floral appeal and the same great shape. The v-neck comes down pretty low, and the waist nips in tightly before flaring out into the full skirt. It hits me a few inches above the knee, but I believe it is knee-length on most people!
