Winter Florals – Asos Curve Plus Size Floral Mini Dress with Frills

Winter has taken back the floral game, y’all! Gorgeous floral prints are not just for spring anymore, and the new, darker florals are not as sweet as you’re used to. Gone are the pastels and light, airy fabrics. These new winter florals have a darker, more mysterious tone. Look for floral with a dark color palette (black is my favorite!) and edgier prints in bold colors. Great summer style is all about easy outfits that can work overtime when you where them to street festivals, brunch outings, shopping trips and everything in between! This plus size tunic dress is so light and has great air flow (something that gets very important as the weather heats up! It’s on the shorter side, so if you’re tall like me but don’t want to show so much leg, just throw on some black leggings and some flats and you’ll look adorable.

Things I love about this dress: 1) the strategically placed black colorblocking at the center and sides is very flattering 2) The print is tropical and inviting and makes me want to travel to far-flung locales and 3) It’s light and easy to wear, so you can throw it on when you are running late and you’ll look pulled together and fabulous.

Oh, and did I mention the reversible PU Shopper Bag? I love the burnt orange side! It’s super practical and fits all of your impulse buys when you’re wandering around the shops this summer!

Plus Size Vintage Shirt Dress in Minty Floral

You know I’m obsessed with flirty vintage retro dresses, and I get ridiculously happy when I discover a new source for plus size options! Voodoo Vixen is a British brand with hundreds of amazing vintage dresses, cardigans and skirts in fun, kitschy floral, fruity and flirty prints. And many of them come in plus sizes! I was in heaven to say the least, and I just had to try the Tilly Shirt Dress which comes in a fabulous minty pink floral print!

SO CUTE!!!! The print, the shape, the covered buttons…I felt so flirty and fabulous! I have nothing negative to say…just be sure to order a size up if you are chesty like me. I ordered a 3X and I was nearly busting out!
