One of the trendiest looks this season involves one of my all time favorite articles of clothing: the kimono robe. Kimonos, robes and all sorts of pajama pairs have been spotted on all of the major runways and stars for the past few months. This Asos Curve Kimono in Stripe with Embroidered Back seemed like a great intro to the trend, so I nabbed it and paired it with my favorite distressed jeans and a simple white tee in today’s Outfit of the Day.
I am thrilled that more and more brands and boutiques are actually size-inclusive — offering the same options in straight and plus sizes. More and more independent retailers are figuring out this special recipe and I am proud to support them! And now we can add Skye’s the Limit to that growing list of brands! It’s an American-based brand that offers fresh, affordable fashion options for plus sizes along side straight sizes! I had the opportunity to try a transitional summer to fall look from their collection, and it is all about fringe!
