How adorable is this True Destiny Black Lighthouse Dress from Fullbeauty.com?! I call it my rick-rack dress because of the fun embellishments on the hem and sleeves. This simple A-line dress is so versatile and perfect for transitioning to fall! It’s lightweight with a bit of frill on the 3/4 length sleeve. I love that it hits above the knee on me, since I like to show some leg, but it will look just as cute paired with some leggings!
I’m SO excited to share with you a look from the Ashley Nell Tipton Collection for Boutique+, the new plus size line at JCPenney! Ashley’s collection just dropped last week, with an incredible live streamed fashion show from New York. I wish I could have been there with all my blogger boos to see the collection debut, but I love that they had a live feed and that we could go to jcpenney.com and start ordering immediately!
Ok, y’all. I’m a copycat! I saw my friend/blogger boo Georgette from Grown and Curvy Woman wearing this amazing golden yellow Eloquii Pintuck and Ruffles Dress on Day 1 of the Curvy Fashionista Style Expo in Atlanta this summer. I think I went back to my hotel and bought it that same day! I absolutely had to have it…and as you can see, the moment I wore it I was happy as a kid in a candy store!

Ashley says this collection is inspired by the 1950s, and I’m so excited to see which gorgeous silhouettes and color ended up making it into the collection! (I will absolutely be picking up this adorable black and pink striped co-ord set! LOVE the crop and the full skirt on this!)
