Since today is Election Day…and also unofficially #pantsuit day, I wanted to share one of my favorite plus size pant suits…and YES, it is POLKA DOTTED! When you want to get a job done, put on a pantsuit! This polka dotted one is from Lane Bryant from earlier this fall. I think it’s all but sold out, unfortunately. But I love how unique it is…I mean, who would have thought to put polka dots on a tweed pattern? lol. A slim ankle length trouser with a cuffed hem, paired with a two button blazer with a sleek Mandarin collar.

This cotton shirtdress is my favorite! No really — I loved it so much in the red stripe (see the post here) that I had to have it in the polka dot too! The full gathered skirt with the nipped in waist and buttons all down the front is so retro–and not to mention flattering! It’s such an easy, chic dress that is appropriate for just about any occasion this summer! Wear it with flats or with a fabulous pair of heels like these Steve Madden red fringe sandals that I found at Macy’s a few months ago!

It’s a Polka Dot Party up in here! I love the cheerful and humble polka dot…it’s impossible to not feel happy when wearing them! This black and white plus size ruffled overlay dress from ASOS Curve is just what every polka dot lover needs. This ASOS Praslin Plus Dress with Polka Dot Overlay is black with with dots on the bottom; white with black dots on the top. It’s close cut on the bottom, but definitely has a lot of stretch…so if you want a closer fit, order a size down!

Have you noticed that I’m slightly obsessed with polka dots this season?!? I just can’t seem to get enough of this fun print — it goes with everything and immediately make me happy–even on a rainy day. Today’s outfit features this City Chic Midi Spot Skirt with a mint green Vince Camuto Sleeveless Blouse from Nordstrom. On my lunch break earlier this summer, I wandered down to the Ju Ming Sculpture in downtown Chicago and had my coworker snap these pics.
