Feeling Fresh and Feminine in Kiyonna’s Twirling Tulle Skirt, part 2

Welcome to part 2 of my post featuring the adorable Twirling Tulle Skirt from Kiyonna. The first look was classic and casual…but for my second look, I thought I’d come up with a stylish outfit that I could wear to the office and out for drinks with the girls!

These pictures were snapped at the boathouse on Montrose Beach next to Lake Michigan. It was a cold, windy day, and even though my hair was a mess, I felt so cute that I didn’t care!

I just found out that these skirts will be available in Red and Blue exclusively for Gwynnie Bee customers, so add one to your closet when they’re released!

Feeling Fresh and Feminine in Kiyonna’s Twirling Tulle Skirt, part 1

Tulle! This soft, flowy, floating airy Tulle Skirt from Kiyonna is perfectly suited to twirling the day away in the conservatory! Actually…it’s perfectly suited for just about any occasion…it’s so fresh and feminine and can be paired with just about anything in your closet. I came up with two different looks to showcase the versatility of this skirt.

For the first look, I decided to go classic with black and white striped top and pumps. And of course, I just had to add a pop of color with a yellow clip on flower I bought at H&M ages ago!

The ruching at the waist of this dress helps the pleats sit at the hip–perfect for maximizing the twirl! The hemline is below the knee, which is reminiscent of the classic, feminine shapes of the 50s. Can you tell I love this skirt?? I’ll share my second look with you tomorrow, so check back!
