I’m not just talking about the old-school sleek furs, but totally outrageous faux fur jackets with exaggerated, shaggy shapes and cool colors. I was lucky enough to grab this crazy version from Lane Bryant earlier this year and it’s my new favorite accessory! I bought a size 20/22 for even more of an exaggerated shape and it goes easily over thicker tops and sweaters.
I’ve been dying for velvet lately and it has seriously taken over my holiday dressing plan! And OMG, you guys…I found the PERFECT black velvet dress at Torrid. With the tank style straps (to cover your bra), the surplice neckline (to make your girls look fab), the nipped in waist, and the full skirt (complete with a crinoline!)…this dress has it all! And it comes in a divine, deep black velvet!
It’s holiday season, and that means I’m in texture and sparkle heaven with all of the gorgeous plussize dresses that have taken over my favorite shops. Everywhere I look, there’s gorgeous, touchable velvet, flirty peek-a-boo lace, sequins and satin and bows… SWOON.
