I love seeing the tiny gears and the beauty and precision of the movement.

The second feature that I love is that it’s a self-winding automatic movement, so that means you don’t have to worry about changing the battery, since there isn’t one! This movement has a power reserve of about 36 hours, so if you don’t wear it for a few days, it will stop. Just wind it up and put it on and it should start ticking again immediately!

Now, a note on sizing…JORD will size the watch band for you before it ships for $10. You should absolutely do this, since it ensures that the watch will be ready to wear right out of the box! If you’re buying for yourself, get a tape measure and wrap it around your wrist and note the number at the point where the tape meets the 0. To ensure the watch fits comfortably, add 0.25 cm. You can then add or subtract centimeters according to whether you prefer a loose, exact or tight fit. There’s also a paper sizer that you can print out and use.

If you are buying this as a gift, you might want to measure a favorite bracelet of your beau that she has worn recently and use that number to choose the right size.
