Pink and Palm Print Plus Size Floral Skirt from Asos Curve
I’ve been obsessed with anything with a palm print for about two years now, and when I saw this plus size floral skirt from Asos Curve in this adorable pink and palm print last week, I snapped it up so fast! I firmly believe that you should wear things that make you smile, and whenever I see the island-inspired florals and palms against this lovely light pink skirt, I smile from ear to ear!

First of all — the print! It’s got a tropical, island flair that I adore. And you can’t go wrong with a pink and green color scheme with pops of yellow! Next, I’m a huge fan of the smooth scuba knit fabric that this skirt is made of. It’s sturdier than other fabrics and holds its shape nicely over multiple wears.
It’s got a high-rise waistline, which I love, since I wear my skirts pretty high on my torso. Wearing it higher than my natural waist balances out my apple shape, disguises a few of my belly rolls, and lets the skirt flair out beautifully over the hips. Box pleats also help with this!
I didn’t notice when I bought this skirt that the hem is unfinished. I think it’s meant to be this way, but it was a surprise. It’s really easy to get things hemmed at your local dry cleaners or tailors, so this might not bother a lot of you. But I know how lazy I am about that sort of thing, and I will never get around to getting it hemmed! So that is something to be aware of before purchasing!
I bought my normal size US 18, and this skirt was very roomy! It’s roomy AND has stretch to it, so you should probably be OK with sizing down!
This is skirt is part of a monster shopping haul from Asos Curve. I got SO many adorable things, and I can’t wait to share them with you over the next week! So stay tuned.
