Lane Bryant Gives Back as Sponsor for Chicago Leading Ladies Luncheon
You guys know that I’m a huge fan of Lane Bryant! I wear something from them at least 3 times a week, which totally qualifies me for super-fan status. I didn’t think it was possible, but yes — I love Lane Bryant even MORE since they sponsored an event here in Chicago called the Leading Ladies Luncheon. (See my previous posts here and here)

Lane Bryant sponsored the Leading Ladies Luncheon Fashion Show by outfitting 5 plus size models/influencers (including me!) with beautiful spring, derby-ready dresses for a segment in the event’s fashion show. AND they took it a step further by donating dozens of dresses to the Mother’s Day Makeover event that our luncheon was fundraising for. A Better Day With Julie and the Daisie Foundation were able to bless so many wonderful mothers because of the generosity from Lane Bryant and other sponsors.
I wanted to give you all a closer look at the colorful, dress that I wore during the show (and haven’t stop wearing since then!). It’s this light blue fit-and-flare sleeveless, v-neck dress with a bright abstract pattern with pops of white, coral and black.
I love the bright pattern, and the shape of the dress is very flattering to my apple shape. I went with a neutral shoe to avoid being too matchy-matchy and then added a bold blue statement necklace from M2 Boutique to add another pop of color!
I’m so grateful that Lane Bryant was willing to sponsor a local event like this, and I’m thrilled that I had a chance to be part of it all. Thanks to Lane Bryant and the other sponsors who contributed to such a successful Leading Ladies Luncheon!
