Introducing The New Skinny Jeans from Lane Bryant
It’s hard to believe that skinny jeans actually started as a denim trend a few years ago. How far we’ve come! Now, they are the foundation of every stylish woman’s wardrobe. This month, Lane Bryant debuted a brand new Super Stretch Skinny Jean, and I had a chance to try them out! See my review of #TheNewSkinny after the jump.

I was looking for a great pair of black jeans to transition into all of my fall looks, and Lane Bryant was kind enough to send me a pair of their Black Super Stretch Skinny Jeans to try. The new skinny jeans were designed specifically with super stretch denim to smooth, sculpt and huge our plus size curves. And they are engineered not to stretch out and get baggy. And OMG…did I mention that they come in a ton of cool styles (like this frayed step hem and this really cool black diamond wash) and also Long and Petite length?

A note on sizing: I’m usually a size 20 in Lane Bryant denim, so that’s the size I went with, but honestly, they were super roomy on me! I could easily have sized down to an 18. So…full disclosure, this style looks more relaxed on me than a Skinny Jean probably should. So I would definitely recommend trying your normal size and one down to see which one fits you better.
Have I mentioned this adorable Embroidered Mesh Top? I love the embroidery on the swiss dot mesh, and the tiered design of the front allows the top to lay nicely over the belly and hips.
Paired with the super stretch skinny jeans from Lane Bryant and topped off with some maroon wedges, this is a chic, easy to wear look that will transition perfectly into fall.
Where are the shoes from?
