Last month, my boyfriend and I went on a roadtrip to South Dakota! We spent days wandering around the Badlands National Park and taking in the beautiful scenery! It was blazing hot, and after we finished hiking on our first day, I took a quick shower and changed into this fun, breezy babydoll dress from Loralette. And when I stepped outside, I was greeted with the most amazing sunset…and found myself in the middle of a field of tiny sunflowers!

This magical moment made me realize how gorgeous our country actually is. I need to get out and experience it more! Even thought I had no makeup on and my bangs were NOT cooperating with me, I made my boyfriend snap these pictures.

Loralette Review: Pink Lace Trim Babydoll Dress

Boho-lovers will rejoice! This Loralette Pink Plus Size Lace Trim Babydoll Dress was the perfect throw-and-go dress to pack in my suitcase.  The shape is loose and flowy and pairs perfectly with a bright white tank top, since it dips very low in the front, back and at the sides. The lace insets and hemline are a great detail, and the asymmetrical hem also adds to the boho flavor.

The material is quite thin and I’m pretty tall, so for comfort (and modesty!), I put a pair of my jean shorts underneath. You can barely see them, but it made me feel more secure knowing that should a rogue wind come and lift my dress, I’d be covered!

The coral pink of this babydoll dress was just screaming out for some turquoise accessories. And since we were walking around in the dirt, I opted for some classic white Converse All-Stars.

A note on sizing: I ordered a 3X to be safe, since I was unsure of Loralette’s sizing. The 3X fit nicely, but it’s an oversized silhouette, so I could have ordered a 2X!
