Gwynnie Bee Plus Size Clothing Haul – October
My Gwynnie Bee subscription came through again this month, y’all! October was weird here in Chicago – with temperatures swinging from the 80s down to the 40s! But thanks to my Gwynnie Bee plus size clothing haul, I was able to keep up with the dramatic weather shifts! Here are 5 looks that I created this month with items from my Gwynnie Bee closet. Just fyi: this post was sponsored by Gwynnie Bee and contains affiliate links. All opinions are my own!
This month started off with somewhat fallish temperatures – mostly mid 70s. That had me adding all sorts of adorable fall and winter-weight items to my Gwynnie Bee closet. When I opened my first package, I was thrilled to find this Eloquii High Low Circle Sleeve Wrap Dress. Not only was the lighter weight fabric perfect for the weather, but the color scheme made it feel like I’d transitioned to fall! The pops of orange and the graphic striped print also made my fall-loving heart sing!
Of course, the temperatures spiked the next week, leaving us sweaty and uncomfortable! Luckily, I had closeted this gorgeous wine colored sleeveless Tahari ASL Fit & Flare Belted Dress. When I say this dress is perfect, I mean it is PERFECT. It fit like an absolute dream. The origami folds at the shoulders were a lovely detail and the long fabric belt felt luxurious. I couldn’t send this dress back – it was a #borrownbuy pick for me!
Later in the month, I traveled home to Alabama and the weather was back in the low 70s! This Phoebe Dress in Feather Print from Cherry Velvet was actually a surprise holdover from my summer closet. But I made it work by adding leggings, brown boots and a jean jacket.
I also packed this Society Plus Chiffon Middington Skirt in Crane Print for my trip home. I paired it with a crop top and a cropped cardigan for a moody and dreamy look.
Returning to Chicago brought icey-temperatures – down in the 40s! But I didn’t care because I was thrilled to wear this Wave Print Midi Sweater Dress by Gabby Skye. This was my second favorite look of the month. The thicker sweater material was very good quality and fit like a glove. The abstract print worked some sort of magic and showed my figure off to its best advantage! This one was hard to send back.
That’s the blessing and the curse of having a Gwynnie Bee subscription. You get to try so many amazing styles and brands and you want to keep them all! But I know there’s something just as amazing that could arrive in my next shipment. So I send some of my favorites back in their little purple bags so that they can make another plus size fashionista’s heart sing!
