eShakti has literally thousands of dresses to choose from on their site, but I finally narrowed it down to this Ruffle Front Zip Cotton Knit Dress. Why? Because of the gorgeous deep teal color! This fall, deep jewel tones are everywhere. Jewel tones like this teal are so rich and flattering on every skin tone!

I like my clothes to have a bit of drama, and this ruffle detail fit the bill. I love how the zipper bisects the ruffle and it waterfalls down the side of the dress to the hem. The asymmetrical placement of the ruffle creates a lovely silhouette.

I customized this dress by shortening the hem length. It originally hit below the knee, but I like to show off my legs, so I wanted an above-the-knee length. I also got rid of the pockets. One of my pet peeves is pockets at the hips, so I just chose to have them eliminated. I could have also chosen to shorten the sleeves or get them longer, but I like bracelet-length sleeves, so I kept them!
