New Year’s Eve is almost here! I usually wait to the last minute to figure out what I’m doing and what I’m wearing for NYE. And since I’m a last minute shopper, I need to find a plus size NYE outfit in the store and walk out with them right then and there. And that is getting harder and harder with the rise of online shopping! Thank goodness for Forever 21 Plus. Plus Size NYE Outfit #1: Purple Velvet Jumpsuit

I ordered this Purple Velvet Jumpsuit on a whim, and literally gasped when I put it on. It fit like a dream! And the velvet was so lush and lovely. I immediately fell in love with it! Topped with my favorite faux fur jacket also from Forever 21, I thought this would make a fabulous – and comfortable – NYE outfit!

And because New Year’s Eve is all about having fun and being flirty, I had to try on 2 different rompers! First was this gorgeous wine colored romper made out of velvet sequins! This velvet sequin thing is so cool. I haven’t seen it before this year – and the velvet coating on the sequins make them a little more subtle and luxe. Paired with (of course) my pink faux fur jacket and black tights (for warmth!), this is another look in the running for my NYE outfit!

How dreamy is this gorgeous, elegant outfit? It was a total last minute find at Forever 21 when I was headed to the register…I had already tried on this gorgeous pearl-embellished glittery mesh top, but couldn’t find anything to style it with. On the way to check out, I spied these frilly cropped pants and thought they would be perfect. I grabbed a nude body suit and checked out without trying it all on. MAGIC.
