Plus Size OOTD: Lane Bryant Fast Lane Soft Knot-Front Tunic Dress

Today’s plus size outfit of the day features this knot-front tunic dress from Lane Bryant’s Fast Lane collection. Basically, the Fast Lane collection is a series of capsule collections only available on lanebryant.com (not in stores). They are only offered for a limited time and have a limited supply. Once they are gone, they’re gone. Since these pieces are a little more exclusive, it’s less likely that you will show up somewhere wearing the same outfit as someone else!

The Soft Knot-Front Tunic Dress from Lane Bryant is very comfortable and easy to wear. The print is fabulous – a moody black and white floral. And the design is a long shirt dress style. The interesting design feature on this dress is the knot in the front over the belly. This detail is actually very flattering since it pulls the fabric in and helps create a waistline. It also allows more fabric in the stomach area so that the fabric isn’t tight around the middle.

The only downside to this design is that it can look a little bulky from the side. However, most people (and pictures!) are seen/taken from the front and the side view is nothing to worry about!

On the site, they’ve styled this tunic dress over wide-legged pants – which I love! So don’t be afraid to experiment with your styling.

For today’s look, I kept it simple – with white boots and a bucket bag.
