New Chicago Service: ReturnRunners Review
I have a confession: I’m a shopaholic. You might not be too surprised by that since I am a fashion blogger, lol. But my shopping habit means that I am also a return-aholic by default. On any given day, I have at least 3 or more items/bags that need to be returned. I can’t tell you how many times bags and boxes of returns have accumulated in my living room and I’ll miss the return window because I’m too busy (or too lazy) to take them back or mail them! Well, I’ve found a solution that has changed the game totally! It’s called ReturnRunners, and it is a dream come true.
*ReturnRunners provided me a complimentary return service for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
ReturnRunners is a new service – based in Chicago for now – that handles your returns for you. You go online and schedule a pickup and a nice person comes to your house and picks up all of your parcels. They make returns to major retailers and will even drop your stuff off at the post office! It costs about $10 to schedule the pickup and then an additional dollar for every item you need to return. When I asked, the founders said that the additional per-item cost is due to liability and insurance, which totally makes sense. It may feel like a luxury that you don’t want to invest in, but when you add up the commuting costs and your time, this service is worth it!
It was such a relief to get those returns made – after they picked up the packages, they sent me an email with all of my return receipts attached. And if they can’t make a return for some reason, they’ll bring it back to you.
It’s a great service and I’m so happy to have it in my life right now! If you’re like me and you live in Chicago, you should definitely check ReturnRunners out – it’s a lifesaver! If you’re interested in trying the service, use my code AMBER50 (case sensitive) to receive 50% OFF of your ReturnRunners order!
And a special thank you to ReturnRunners for a recent profile they did on me. *BLUSHING* Read it here: http://blog.returnrunners.com/blog/amberspotlight
