Plus Size Fall Outfit with Leather Shorts
Next post
The leaves are changing and that means I’m styling my plus size fall outfit with leather shorts! And I’m once again featuring an adorable Halloween-themed tee from Mischief Made Me!
I am a sweaty mess in the summer, so leather shorts never make an appearance until the temps dip into the 60s! And I think one of the best ways to style leather shorts is with over the knee boots – the higher, the better! Since there’s such a limited time to wear my favorite spooky season pieces, I’ve been wearing a different plus size Halloween tshirt everyday! lol. Today, I tucked it into the leather shorts and added a cape (for warmth AND drama!) and a fedora hat.
Brown Faux Leather Shorts | Plus Size Halloween Tee | Black Cape (similar and similar) | Wide Calf Thigh High Boots (similar, similar, and similar) | Brown Leather Fedora
These faux leather shorts are from Eloquii. I like them because they aren’t too long. They hit about mid-thigh on me (I’m 5’9), so wearing them with OTK boots shows the perfect amount of skin.
I mentioned in my last post that I buy a new vintage pinup-themed tee from Mischief Made Me each year. It’s a tradition! lol. This year’s tee was “Witchy Sisters” and I love it so much!!
I love a cape moment, and this is one of my all-time favorite fall wardrobe pieces. It’s from the Girl With Curves collection at QVC, but the black version is sold out. I linked a few similar pieces that will give you the same vibe!
My wide calf OTK boots are from Lane Bryant – like 5 years ago. They are real leather and I will wear them until the fall apart! But I know y’all need some links, so I’ve added a few options here for you. 🙂
Over the last few years, I’ve become a hat girl! My collection has grown, but this is one that I reach for most often. I think it’s the rich brown color that really goes with everything and works with the fall tones I like to build my outfits around.
So there you go, a plus size fall outfit with leather shorts! I’m planning to restyle these shorts into other outfits, so I’ll be sure to post them when I do!
