Sometimes, you just have to lean into the tackiness of holiday fashion. When I found the CUTEST plus size ugly Christmas sweater, I decided now would be one of those times. It is 100% possible to look and feel cute in an ugly Christmas sweater, you just need to style it well. And I must say, I felt adorable in this plus size ugly sweater outfit!
I mean for real, how cute is this?! I love the incorporation of pink, it definitely plays into my personality which is probably why I love it so much. I think that’s the key to rocking an ugly sweater – finding something that uniquely fits you and your vibe.

I knew I wanted to pair it with a high waisted circle mini skirt. I started off with a pink one but that did NOT work – the pink on pink clashed way too much. So I opted for green. In my closet I had a green midi skirt that I pulled all the way up to my chest to make it a mini, but it would be much easier to just get a skirt that fits the bill. These skater skirts are perfect and exactly what I would have gone with.

And we’re back to leaning into the holiday style! These earrings are so fun, I just couldn’t resist!
When it comes to Christmas outfits, white boots are always the answer. They just bring a brightness to the outfit that black or brown can’t. To be honest, I was looking for some reindeer antlers but couldn’t find them. So I just went with a bright red headband. It definitely ties all the color together from head to toe! I ended up putting my hair up in a high bun, both to add some festive height and to make it a little easier to see my earrings. This headband was the perfect touch.

The final piece of an ugly sweater outfit is its equivalent in a bag! I have my peppermint bag which has been my go to for all the fun holiday stuff I’ve been doing, but this cute Christmas tree bag I think would actually be the perfect touch on this outfit. Whichever way you go, a kitschy crossbody bag is a must!
