A newsletter subscriber wrote me: “I need plus size wedding guest dress recs, please!” I must admit…it took me a while to put this together because when this question was first submitted, I couldn’t find many dresses at all that fit my personal style for weddings. But finally I found some gorgeous dresses with the flirty, feminine details that I love so much!

Plus Size Wedding Guest Attire

When I’m searching for the perfect dress to wear to a wedding, I’m usually looking for 4 things:

1. A midi or ankle length hem
2. Something I can wear a regular bra with if possible!
3. Silhouettes that aren’t too *sekksy*, and
4. Solid colors or soft florals (that don’t clash with the wedding decor!)

I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites here. I was a little hesitant to include options with a white background but I feel like the ones below don’t read “bridal” and wouldn’t compete. But I know some people are anti white-based dresses for weddings, period. What are your thoughts?!
