I so rarely wear black that it shocks me when I find something that’s so cute I just have to grab it!!! And this romper from Target did the trick. It does come in some other colors/prints, but definitely try it on before you buy it because there seems to be very small variations in size that do make a difference. I paired this look with red accessories and simple sandals because Tim and I were headed out for a date night playing pinball at a local arcade! I felt so cute!
It’s hard to see in the photos, but this romper has the most adorable details – corset-type seaming on the bodice, covered buttons, slightly ruffled bottom, and an unusual shape to the shoulder straps. It’s so cute! BUT be advised that this is a bit of a struggle to get in and out of – so don’t wait until you’re desperate to go to the bathroom!!
I usually go for a headband in my hair, and I ALMOST did again. But I wanted to mix it up for this outfit. I thought these red bows were SO cute!
I have been in love with this cute little bag for a long time! Any time I don’t feel like there’s quite enough color in my outfit, this comes out almost immediately. The actual one I have is long gone but I found this similar one from Anthropologie – and it’s more similar than ANYTHING else I’ve found!
Considering this outfit was for an arcade pinball date, these sandals were an EXCELLENT choice. They looked great, and I wasn’t worried about my feet the whole time. This is a great closet staple piece for moments just like this!
Finished off the look with one of my favorite pendant necklaces and some red heart sunglasses to go with the red bows. Overall I was a huge fan of this outfit! I would totally wear it again!
