Plus Size White Lace Dress
Next post
This dress has reignited my interest in planning my wedding!!! While it’s not a bridal gown, this dress would be perfect for all of the events that often surround weddings – like showers, bachelorette brunches, cake tastings and all that jazz! I paired it with my favorite neutral heels and a pearl headband and my go-to heart necklace. It’s SO GOOD, y’all!
This gorgeous dress is from Ivy City Co, of course. It is a gorgeous white lace over a soft nude color lining. And omg…the sleeves are DRAMATIC and wonderful!!! The bodice has elasticated ruching which means it’s super comfortable and can accommodate fluctuations in size. In fact, I ordered the 2x but really should have gone with the 1x! So if you’re between sizes, SIZE DOWN!
Pearl headbands are definitely a go-to for me, I’ll admit I have a lot of them. This one is a little more understated with just the two layers of pearls and a base that easily hides in my hair. If you have lighter hair, I would suggest a lighter headband base to achieve the same look.
This has been my go-to necklace basically all year. It’s simple, it’s cute, and adds just that little extra something to everything I wear it with.
You know I’m feeling fancy when I pull out my YSL bag. It worked so perfectly with the hues of the dress, I couldn’t resist! Linked a similar color/size crossbody at a much lower price point as well.

These have quickly become my favorite pair of neutral heels. For heels, they’re actually super comfortable and supportive. And the bow makes them so much cuter than your normal neutral shoe! 10/10.
So what do you think? Should I start planning my wedding again for another chance to wear this dress?
