OBSESSED doesn’t even begin to describe my feelings toward this plus size dress from Kiyonna! Years ago, I tried the Valentina Lace Dress and loved the way it showed off my curves (see the original post from 2012 here! and another version here!). This Hourglass Lace Dress from Kiyonna has ruched velvet paneling down the front that accentuates the curves of your silhouette! The crossover sweetheart neckline shows off the bust and the lace at the sides help to visually cinch in the waist.

The velvet is luxe and gorgeous – the color is divine! And it’s so soft to the touch. I love that the thicker, textured velvet doesn’t reveal as many bumps and ridges as smoother fabric does.

If you’re an apple shape like me and carry weight in your midsection, this dress is a dream!

Kiyonna’s feminine dresses truly know how to work with a woman’s curves – not against them. This dress is one of my all-time favorites, and I love that they keep coming out with other versions!
