Last summer, two of the plus size industry’s OG superstars launched their own plus size clothing line called Premme. You’ve probably heard of it and have seen fabulous influencers rock their pieces throughout the year. I swear I tried to be one of the first wave of customers, but everything sold out before I could push “add to cart!” But you guys – I finally tried Premme (and found the wide-leg glittery green pants of my dreams!) and I’m here to tell you all about it!

Premme Plus Size Clothing Line

Magic happened when Gabifresh and Nicolette Mason pooled their resources and made their vision for bold, fashion-forward plus size clothing come to life. They both have incredible personal style and appreciation for quality clothing. And – since they were two of the plus size community’s leading figures, they truly understood the pain points of the plus size consumer. This gave them a head start when deciding what types of clothing to include in their collection.

Bold designs, bright colors, figure-baring features, dramatic extras and quality fabrics were on the top of their wish list. AND – an extended size range that goes up to a size 30! Another major factor that sets them apart from other plus size clothing lines? They use visibly plus size models in their product shots and advertising! All of this made me a fan before I placed my first order … but when I actually got a chance to try a piece from their collection – I transformed into a super fan.

High-Waisted, Wide-Leg Green Glittery Plus Size Pants

These are words I never thought I’d use to describe an article of plus size clothing! I mean – there is a lack of great pants in the plus size market to begin with — add in the high-waist and the wide-leg features and your search results mostly come back with nothing. Until NOW! The Jay Glitter Wide Leg Pants are the most extra and fabulous pants I’ve ever seen offered in plus sizes.

They were originally offered in PINK – and most sizes (except mine!) are still available. When they came out with them in GREEN, I fell hard. I had to have them!

They are the most divine shade of green and the fabric is super glittery – not the type of glitter that sheds, but the type that is part of the fabric. The biggest problem I usually have with wide leg pants is that they aren’t long enough for me, but these are the perfect length! I wore them with platform heels they hit right at the proper spot – skimming the top of my feet.

How I Styled The Premme Jay Glitter Wide Leg Pants

So, what exactly do you wear with super extra pants like these? The best tops to pair with wide leg, high waisted pants are sleek bodysuits, crop tops or simple tees. I really wanted the pants to be the star of this outfit, and I wanted to show off the high-waisted design and belt. So I went for a fluttery, cape-sleeved black crop top from Ashley Nell Tipton’s Boutique Plus Collection from last year.

I paired them with a pair of velvet star-embroidered platform shoes from Simply Be. And then I took myself to the Moorten Botanical Garden and Cactarium in Palm Springs, CA.
