Let’s talk about shapewear! Specifically, shapewear and no-show underwear for babes who identify as apple shapes – like me! So many plus size shapewear options focus on smoothing the hips, thighs and bum area. But that was never where I wanted the most support. My shapewear needs all center around my belly and midsection! For years, my favorite go-to brand has been Spanx, but we are in a shapewear renaissance! Recently, there are a number of new brands (like SKIMS) who have begun offering shapewear and seamless underwear in plus sizes! Since there are so many options, I thought I’d do a roundup of plus size shapewear and no-show underwear that smooth the midsection area for apple shapes!

Looking for some fabulous plus size fall outfits? I found such cute looks at QVC!* QVC has been around my whole life, but I had never really considered them as a plus-size shopping destination. I’ve never been so happy to be wrong! They have TONS of cute plus size clothes from brands that are new to me! AND they use plus-size models on their TV segments – so you can actually see the pieces on plus-size bodies. Do you know how rare that is?! I am so thrilled to partner with QVC on this post and show you three cute outfits that I put together from the different brands that QVC carries.

This plus size outfit was such a fun one to wear to CurvyCon and NYFW. And I was even photographed in it for InStyle Magazine by Lydia Hudgens! It’s a little outside of the box, but that’s what I love about fashion – you can play and experiment with your looks!

I was a little short on time when I was packing for my trip, and there are barely any places I can shop for plussize clothes in person in downtown Chicago. Thank goodness for Eloquii! I went into the store and bought this outfit – I love the plisse pleats and airy wide-leg feel of the pants. And pairing it with a neon chartreuse crop top felt fresh and exciting.
To top off the look, I wore some animal print spotted slides (because there’s SO MUCH WALKING during fashion week) and a belt bag. I styled my hair in a side braid for a little extra sleekness.
What do you think of these neon looks? Are you a fan? I feel like pairing it with a neutral toned down the top a little bit…but tell me what you think!
It’s the time of year when fall styles are hitting the stores, but it’s still too hot to wear them! So I always like to choose pieces that can work now AND later in the fall. I’ve partnered with LOFT to showcase my late summer style that can easily work for hotter days now and when the weather cools off.
OH, and Over on my Instagram, I’m hosting a GIVEAWAY with Loft!!! Be sure to enter it for your chance to win two (2) $250 gift cards!
