This Tuesday (June 25th) I’m hosting a screening for Fly Me to the Moon, a new romantic comedy starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum! It’s set during the lead up to the 1969 moon landing and I personally am very excited to see it.
As such, it’s no surprise that late 60s/early 70s fashion is on my mind! So I went hunting for some fun retro pieces that I feel could fit the vibe. What do you think?!
And if you want to join me for the movie, register for your passes here!
Whenever I’m feeling down, I like to throw on a cute dress, some comfy shoes, and go get a cup of coffee or a snack. This outfit was an immediate pick-me-up! I loved that I could use some staples in my closet to bring out the best in this dress.
How do you spell obsession?! IVY CITY CO! I am a huge fan of their dresses, so when I saw this top, I knew I would love it. It was actually cool here in Chicago earlier this week, so I pulled out a favorite pair of jeans and added my new blue suede heels and some pearly/girly accessories to complete the look. I also plan to wear this with an A-line flared skirt or skater skirt for hotter days. Do you love it as much as I do?! Let’s take a closer look at the pieces…
It’s June!!! The year is half over, so I thought I would take a look back at all the looks and items that I’ve acquired so far and see which ones I actually wore the most or loved the most (the ones that are still available to shop, that is!!!). Here are the pieces that truly stand out and that I have reached for over and over. And the good news is – you can still purchase them if you like them too!
A newsletter subscriber wrote me: “I need plus size wedding guest dress recs, please!” I must admit…it took me a while to put this together because when this question was first submitted, I couldn’t find many dresses at all that fit my personal style for weddings. But finally I found some gorgeous dresses with the flirty, feminine details that I love so much!
