Snow Day! Feat. Plus Size Sherpa Coat from Lane Bryant

For some of you in other parts of the country, it’s already starting to feel like spring and you’re pulling out all of your cute pastel dresses. Well, I’m super jealous, because it’s still cold and snowy here in Chicago. Today’s snow was actually pretty beautiful though, and I thought it would be perfect to break out this adorable Sherpa Coat that I bought from Lane Bryant a few months ago. How to Wear a Statement Tshirt: Notorious RBG

I’m so not a tshirt kind of gal, but sometimes one comes along that makes a ridiculously awesome statement and you just HAVE to have it. Case in point: this Notorious RBG tshirt from Spreadshirt. Do you have any idea how much of a badass Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg actually is? I just finished reading the BEST book called Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsberg by Irin Carmon and Shana Knizhnik. I couldn’t put it down…every page revealed another fascinating and fantastic layer to RBG’s unapologetic and fierce life-long fight for women and civil rights. It’s a poignant and passionate glimpse into a remarkable woman and her career…and the book itself is a perfect blend of chatty insights and hardcore biographical facts. Seriously…I loved the book, and was so inspired that I HAD to have a tshirt.
