I saw this plus size Meow Sweater when I was at my local Torrid, and I experienced a deep primal need to own it…seriously if there were only one of these sweaters left and someone else was going for it, there might have been a serious (ahem) catfight. What’s not to love? Cats? Fuzzy? White? Adorable!!! And pair it with a fab pleated plaid mini skirt and some over the knee boots, and you have an outfit to die for!

Happy Holiday season! It’s my favorite time of year for all things glam and sparkly and luxe, and I’m absolutely thrilled to share this Limited Edition Metallic Maven Lace Dress from Kiyonna. It hits all of the holiday style high notes for plus size gals: A-line shape to skim your hips, gathered/ruched waistband, and peek-a-boo mesh lace at the shoulders and neckline. One feature that I love is the relaxed sweatheart neckline (which doesn’t come down too far) and the gathered sleeves that create a wonderful art-deco feel to the silhouette. I LOVE getting dressed up in fancy dresses and wearing my high, super sparkly (and impractical) heels…but the reality is…I have a day job and can’t wear most of my fun and flirty outfits to the office. Most days, I have to look professional and put my #girlboss chops to work. Anyone who has ever worked in an office knows that it’s easy to get stuck in a workwear wardrobe rut. That’s why I make a point to reinterpret classic combos in fresh ways.
I totally had a plus size fan girl moment when I saw an ad for a red fringe skirt from Lane Bryant. Everything about the picture had me swooning! The flirty fringe, bold red color and sexy black boots…I knew I had to have this outfit from Lane Bryant! Normally, I take inspiration from the ads and pictures I see and make it my own…but I really couldn’t see improving on this…so, I bought the whole thing!
I love this Double V sweater in this bright red…so bold and fresh! I’ll be wearing it in another post later this week, so keep an eye out. And have I mentioned these Over the Knee Boots? They are wide calf, so they are perfectly suited to us plus size gals! And these are made of real leather and have a great mid-height heel that you can actually walk it. If you’re wanting to splurge on a great pair of boots this season, I would absolutely recommend these!
Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? ME of course!!! I’m totally feeling the villain vibe for this year’s Halloween costume. Plus size Halloween costumes are kind of all over the place as far as taste-level, quality and sizing…so I was happy to discover a great selection of plus size costumes on BuyCostumes.com. You never know what you’ll get when you order a costume online, but when this was delivered, I was surprised at the quality and immediately loved it!
Of course I had to add a spooky woods background and include a poisoned apple to complete the scene!
