Last weekend, I was thrilled to attend my very first Create & Cultivate conference! Have you heard of it? It’s a one-day networking conference for female creatives and entrepreneurs that pops up in a few cities across the country – and last weekend, it was in Chicago! This incredible event draws hundreds of amazing #girlbosses together to learn, interact and get inspired to both create AND cultivate the career/company/life of their dreams. JCPenney was a presenting sponsor of Create & Cultivate Chicago and I was honored that they invited me to join them for the day!
Summer is sizzlin’ hot already, and the style forecasts all point to bold brights as the look of the look of the season! Bright, saturated colors took over the SS17 runways and have made their way into every store. Me? I’m obsessed with anything orange, yellow or red! The super bright trends showed up in collections at Balenciaga, Max Mara and 3.1 Philip Lim, just to name a few. And guess where else these bright colors are showing up? At your local JCPenney! Ashley’s collection just dropped last week, with an incredible live streamed fashion show from New York. I wish I could have been there with all my blogger boos to see the collection debut, but I love that they had a live feed and that we could go to jcpenney.com and start ordering immediately!

Ashley says this collection is inspired by the 1950s, and I’m so excited to see which gorgeous silhouettes and color ended up making it into the collection! (I will absolutely be picking up this adorable black and pink striped co-ord set! LOVE the crop and the full skirt on this!)
