Take a break from your heels and treat your feet to shoes made for walking
I love my high-heels. Like…really really love them. But, unfortunately, they don’t always love me back. I have all sorts of feet issues and a few long-standing injuries that sometimes prevent me from wearing my gorgeous, colorful, happy heels…and put me on the “flatline.” I’m always on the lookout for cute shoes that don’t embarrass my feet and can keep up with my hectic on-the-go schedule. And ladies…I’m happy to introduce you to a young company fresh on the market….with a new crop of foot-friendly, style-conscious styles: Alegria Shoes.
I was thrilled when they contacted me for a review, and spent a lot
of time looking through all of their styles and options…since it is
still freezing here in Chicago and we’re not entirely out of danger of
snow, I opted to try a more classic, year-round style in a not so
classic color: Alegria Paloma Blue Tile Mary Janes!
These shoes were originally made for nurses…so they know a thing or two about being on your feet all day! Each style features hidden benefits, including an anatomically correct
interlocking footbed system, that forms to the natural contours of your
foot for maximum support, improved posture and all-day comfort.
Halfway through the day, my feet are feeling good! No inflammation or pain points.
And after a full work day and a 4 hour shopping trip, I’m waiting for the train in comfort. I could feel that the footbed of the shoe had molded to the shape of my foot, and the pads of my feet were not throbbing as they usually do after a full day.
If you need to take a break from your heels or spend a lot of time on your feet, check out Alegria and walk around in comfort and style! Here’s some adorable styles from their spring collection:
How much do you love the Houndstooth?? And the sandals with the skull and crossbones? Cute!
I *LOVE* Alegria shoes!! I'm a newly converted. 🙂 I'd had two discs rupture in my back last year, and these take the pain off…well…everything. True story. I'm moderately figured, so I find they help re-distribute where exactly I need it to be! Thank you for sharing!
