I got this vest when I did a Target try on a few months ago, but I never actually wore it. I was determined to style it for this outing, so it became the centerpiece of the outfit. The subtle plaid gives the perfect *fall but not yet holiday* vibes, and the color is a great neutral that made it easy to style.

I decided on my favorite wide leg cropped jeans and they were perfect. I got them a while ago so they’re not available any more, but here are a few great options that are similar. The palazzo cropped jeans are from Good American, I think those are the most similar to what I’ve got. They’re so comfortable and look great with like everything.

Next I picked a sheer lace top with puffed sleeves that I thought would look great with the vest. I was right! It added a victorian flare to the outfit for sure. And then once I put the vest on over it I swear I was channeling the original Anne of Green Gables.
