I found the most adorable plus size red peplum top at Fashion to Figure! If you haven’t heard of this retailer, you need to check it out immediately. Trendy, fun pieces at truly affordable prices. It’s fast fashion, so items turn over quickly and there’s always something new. Like Forever 21, you’ll find unique clothes that push the traditional envelope for plus size gals — hemlines are higher, necklines are lower and prints and materials are more daring than other plus size retailers. I’m thrilled that I get to work with them on a series of 3 posts this week. And first up is the perfect cute and casual look — a red peplum top and skinny jeans with leopard details! Perfect for Valentine’s Day, but also great for all occasions throughout the year!
If you haven’t noticed, I am a little obsessed with fringe lately, and I HAD TO HAVE these fringe boots when I saw them on Fullbeauty.com. I’ve been wearing them everywhere this winter, and they’ve added a little bit of fun and flair to my day. They are the perfect thing to feature in my first post as a Fullbeauty brand Ambassador!
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been selected as brand Ambassador for Fullbeauty.com — which means I’ll be bringing you a series of posts featuring clothes, shoes and accessories from their huge line up of plus size brands. There are so many amazing labels and options to choose from on their site…it really is like a one-stop shop for plus size gals!
I’m so proud to be a part of the #OwnYourCurves movement! And can’t wait to bring you tons more posts!!!
Spring is finally HERE (even though it snowed today in Chicago–I’m going to think positive!). Y’all know I’m usually all about flirty and fun dresses — but I this spring, I decided to focus on finding some casual, chic and versatile pieces that can take me from brunch to drinks to errands and back again.
I absolutely loved the soft faux-leather and gold accents on this Moto Jacket–which is perfect for those spring nights that turn chilly. The embellished overlay tank was comfortable and laid back, but with some fancy sparkle that takes it up a notch. And did I mention these cropped jeggings?? They are the most comfortable and slimming pants I’ve tried in a long time! They hold their shape and have a lot of stretch, so even if you overindulge on Easter Brunch, you’ll still be comfortable and look amazing.
OK, true confession: I do not do casual very well. If I have the choice between dressing down or dressing up, I almost always go UP…way UP! But, sometimes you just want something loose and comfortable to wear with a pair of skinny jeans. So this weekend, I brought out the Asos Curve Baroque Peplum Top from my Gwynnie Bee closet.
As you can see, the top was made out of a light, thin cotton, and had a nice muted blue print. It fit quite loose, so I would size down if you want more of a cinched-waist look.
Throw this on with some wedges, a colorful long necklace and some skinny jeans…and you have the makings of a cute, casual look for summer.
