Spooky, Yet Professional in this Simply Be Dark Cherry Frill Dress

What to do when Halloween falls on a Monday and you have to go to work? You look for a chic, slightly spooky, off-kilter outfit that won’t get you into trouble with HR! Black? Too predictable! I went with this gorgeous dark cherry Frill Detail Dipped Hem Dress from SimplyBe!

This dress has an old-timey vibe — with the long sleeves, exaggerated cuffs and high neckline. And the ruffled panel on the side and at the hem should be sweet…yet the dark cherry color toughens it up. I paired it with some socks of the same color to throw it a little more off kilter and topped it off with these crazy fun Sole Diva Hi Vamp Cross Over Platform sandals several shades lighter in magenta pink. It’s risky…but I think it works — especially for the Halloween season!

Ruffled and Fabulous in this Kiyonna Flawless Flounce Top

What a fun and flirty top from Kiyonna! I love a good ruffle, and this Flawless Flounce Top* is all about the ruffle!

This top has a cut out shoulders and the neckline has a ruffle that extends from the sleeves and curves into the bodice and then ends as a ruffle hem. It’s such a unique and breezy design! The sleeves are elastic at the top, so you can wear them on or off the shoulder. I paired this dark indigo version of the Flawless Flounce Top with gray skinny jeans and colorful accessories.

Plus Size Fall Office Wear: Red and Burgundy Maggy London Sheath Dress

Red and burgundy, or in a more descriptive light…Persian Red and Dried Cherry! I love these deep saturated tones and together, in one dress, makes my heart sing! This Maggy London Colorblock Scuba Knit Sheath Dress* literally jumped off the rack at me when I was in my local Nordstrom. I love the contrasting color combo and it injects the more traditional sheath silhouette with some unexpected flair.

This two-toned Colorblocked Scuba Knit Sheath Dress by Maggy London is the ultimate fall office wear. The higher neckline and the knee-length hemline keeps it modest in the office, but the color blocking keeps it far from boring. And of course, Maggy London’s plus size dresses fit perfectly, so order your true size, and you will be happy.

I love the fit and flare silhouette with the organza illusion neckline! The organza striped panels on the skirt add even more interest and detail to this sophisticated LBD. Paired with these J. Renee Winda Pumps, I can dance the night away! It’s rare for me to give up my high heels, but these kitten heels with the awesome mesh cut outs were so perfect for this dress, I had to have them.
